Here’s a heck of a treat for all of us Tolkien fans. (Be sure to switch it to HD, if you’ve got the bandwidth for it.)
The video provides a wonderful glimpse behind the scenes as filming begins on the set of The Hobbit. The only downside is that the video is going to crank your geek-excitement level to 11, but you’re going to have to wait until 2012 to see the first movie! Oh well, Peter Jackson and company have promised to trickle out video-blog teasers like this during filming and postproduction, so let’s all look forward to that.
